Silsden Circular

This walk is one of sixteen walks which complement the
Bradford millenium Way
Todays walk is taking place to celebrate 25 years since the
Bradford Millenium way was initiated.
You are all welcome to join us
The walk starts at Wesley Place car park in Silsden and goes towards Bracken Hill Farm, crossing a small stream on the way (no bridge). We then move on to High Crossmore Farm before descending towards the Leeds Liverpool Canal. We cross the canal and follow the River Aire downstream to Silsden Bridge where we join the Millenium Way path and follow it to Howden Park Farm where we begin to climb to High Brunswick and Swartha before returning to our starting point via Town Head.
This is a very pleasant walk and well worth the effort.
(The walk can be shortened at almost any point if so desired!)

Note:
We meet at 10.15 am to enable walk to commence at 10.30 please tell walk leader if you may be running late.
Walking boots, waterproofs and a packed lunch are required.
We do not allow dogs as we go through many farmer's fields with livestock.
Please do not walk in front of the walk leader unless asked to do so.
Fees
New membership for 2025 is £10 which includes 100's of walks with any of our 6 mid-week groups. For anyone who is not an annual member, we ask for a £1 donation toward our admin and insurance costs.
Please pay the Walk leader on the day.
