Thornton Denholme Circular

The Walk
The walk goes from Thornton to Denholme Clough, up to Sawood, back to Denholme, through Doe Park and back to Thornton.

The distance is 7 miles.
All walks are circular, unless stated.

The Walk Leader is Lesley
The Group Leader is Barry

Meeting:
We usually gather around 10.15 to start the walk promptly at 10.30.
NB:
Walking boots, waterproofs, a packed lunch and drinks are required.
We do not allow dogs on our walks as we often go through farmer's fields with livestock.

In addition to the Meetup members shown, we have members of BSW and CHA attending walks , making a group of between 6 to 16 walkers.
Fees:
New membership fees for 2025 are £10 for 100's of walks with any of our 6 mid-week groups.
For non-members, we ask for a £1 donation on each walk towards our admin and insurance costs.
