To Skipton and back

The walk

Russell will be leading this 8+ mile circular FLAT walk, with Sharon acting as back up. Starting in Cononley we follow the river to Carton-in-Craven, short walk on the road before taking the path to Skipton. A short road walk around the station to reach the canal towpath, back to Cononley Lane End and to the cars.

The distance is 8+ miles.

Meeting:
Usually, we gather from 10.00 to 10.15 to start the walk at 10.30 from the Meeting Place and are circular unless otherwise indicated.

Note:
Walking boots, waterproofs and a packed lunch are required.
We do not allow dogs as we go through many farmer's fields with livestock.
As well as the Meetup members shown we also have members of BSW and CHA making a group of 6 to 16

Fees
New membership for 2025 is £10 for 100's of walks with any of our 6 mid-week groups. For anyone who is not an annual member, we ask for a £1 donation toward our admin and insurance costs.
