The walk
Paul and Neil will jointly lead this walk which is around seven and a half miles long. Starting off with a flat walk down the down the canal towpath towards Mytholmroyd, across to follow the rail track and then a (relatively steep) climb up the hillside to the lunch stop and the great views the Calderdale Valley affords us. It’s all down hill from there culminating in a final 2 mile walk back down the towpath to the start point.

Meet at Hebden Bridge Station Car Park, Station Road HX7 6JE, what3words limit.bluffing.trace where you can park in one of the official car parks (£1 per hour; you can use Apcoa App or cash) or park on the main road (A646) below the station Car Park.

Note:
We meet at 10:20 am to enable walk to commence at 10.30 please tel walk leader if you may be running late.
Walking boots, waterproofs and a packed lunch are required.
We do not allow dogs as we go through many farmer's fields with livestock.
Please do not walk in front of the walk leader unless asked to do so.
Fees
New membership for 2025 is £10 which includes 100's of walks with any of our 6 mid-week groups. For anyone who is not an annual member, we ask for a £1 donation toward our admin and insurance costs.
Please pay the Walk leader on the day.
