Menston to Horncliffe Well

Our walk begins in the centre of Menston and takes the road/track to Bleach Mill. We then follow Carr beck and pick up the path towards Intake Gate. Our next path takes us across Hawksworth Moor to Horncliffe Well. From here we follow the Welcome Way towards Burley Moor where we join the Bradford Millenium Way and pass Hag farm before reaching Bleach Mill and returning on our original route.

The distance is 8 miles.

All walks are circular, unless stated.
Meeting:
We usually gather around 10.15 to start the walk promptly at 10.30.
NB:
Walking boots, waterproofs, a packed lunch and drinks are required.
We do not allow dogs on our walks as we often go through farmer's fields with livestock.

In addition to the Meetup members shown, we have members of BSW and CHA attending walks , making a group of between 6 to 16 walkers.
Fees:
New membership fees for 2025 are £10 for 100's of walks with any of our 6 mid-week groups.
For non-members, we ask for a £1 donation on each walk towards our admin and insurance costs.
