Burley-in-Wharfedale to Ilkley

Walk Distance: 5 Miles
All walks are circular unless otherwise stated.
This is a Linear walk. There are Regular trains back to the start
or Bradford.
Walking includes roads, tracks and paths with uphill and downhill sections. In view of the recent rain some may well be muddy and slippery.

Meeting Point:
Meet on Platform 1 at Burley in Wharfedale station. Walk starts 11.10am.

10.46am Ilkley train from Bfd Forster Sq.
Walk starts 11.10am.
Linear walk.
Frequent trains back to the start or Bradford
Note:
Do not try to contact the group by Meetup on the day of the walk as we do not have the tech to monitor or reply.
Walking boots, waterproofs and a packed lunch are required.
We do not allow dogs as we go through many farmer's fields with livestock.
As well as the Meetup members shown we also have members of BSW and CHA making a group of 10 to 15 each week.
Fees
New membership for 2025 is £10 for 100's of walks with any of our 6 mid-week groups. For anyone who is not an annual member, we ask for a £1 donation toward our admin and insurance costs.
Please pay the Walk or Group leader on the day.
