Holden Gate to the Doubler Stones

Our route leaves Holden gate heading down the hill to High Wood Head.
We then contour along the hillside to Heights Farm before heading North towards Morton Moor and then along the ridge towards Wingate Nick before veering off to the Doubler Stones.
We then follow Rough Holden back to Holden Gate

The distance is 7.5miles.

All walks are circular, unless stated.
Meeting:
We usually gather around 10.15 to start the walk promptly at 10.30.
NB:
Walking boots, waterproofs, a packed lunch and drinks are required.
We do not allow dogs on our walks as we often go through farmer's fields with livestock.

In addition to the Meetup members shown, we have members of BSW and CHA attending walks , making a group of between 6 to 16 walkers.
Fees:
New membership fees for 2025 are £10 for 100's of walks with any of our 6 mid-week groups.
For non-members, we ask for a £1 donation on each walk towards our admin and insurance costs.
