Gargrave & the Curly Wurlies
Details
The walk
Chris will be leading this 9+ mile circular walk, leaving Gargrave following the Pennine Way south to find the Curly Wurlies of the Leeds & Liverpool canal. We then cross some fields follow a stone track back to Bank Newton locks and then follow the towpath back to the cars.

Note:
We meet at 10:20 am to enable walk to commence at 10.30
Walking boots, waterproofs and a packed lunch are required.
We do not allow dogs as we go through many farmer's fields with livestock.
Please do not walk in front of the walk leader unless asked to do so.

Fees
New membership for 2026 is £10 which includes 100's of walks with any of our 6 mid-week groups. For anyone who is not an annual member, we ask for a £1 donation toward our admin and insurance costs.
Please pay the Walk leader on the day.
(Note: £10 for 2025 is for 100's of walks available through the Midweek Wayfarers various groups)
