The walk
Chris will be leading this 8+ mile circular walk, leaving Ponden Mill we make our way up to the First Stanbury, then taking some pleasant rural footpaths to Haworth, then to Penistone Hill and the Second Stanbury (Stanbury Heights). on our way to The Bronte Waterfalls and lunch. We then head off towards Top Withins picking up The Pennine Way back o Ponden Mill. The Third Stanbury has been with you all the way! ME

Note:
We meet at 10:20 am to enable walk to commence at 10.30
Walking boots, waterproofs and a packed lunch are required.
We do not allow dogs as we go through many farmer's fields with livestock.
Please do not walk in front of the walk leader unless asked to do so.

Fees
New membership for 2026 is £10 which includes 100's of walks with any of our 6 mid-week groups. For anyone who is not an annual member, we ask for a £1 donation toward our admin and insurance costs.
Please pay the Walk leader on the day.
(Note: £10 for 2025 is for 100's of walks available through the Midweek Wayfarers various groups)
