Upper Ryburn Valley
Details
The Walk:
Jill will be leading this 9.5 mile circular walk starting at the Bridge Inn, Ripponden.
From the centre of Ripponden and taking in Ryburn and Baitings Reservoirs in the Upper Ryburn Valley and the charming woods around Mill Bank. There a a nice steady climb to the trig point on Manshead Hill where hopefully we'll get a good view.
Generally good paths with a couple of climbs.

There are several public carparks and on street parking spots in the area.
Note:
We meet at 10:20 am to enable walk to commence at 10.30
Walking boots, waterproofs and a packed lunch are required.
We do not allow dogs as we go through many farmer's fields with livestock.
Please do not walk in front of the walk leader unless asked to do so.
Fees
New membership for remainder of 2026 is £5 which includes 100's of walks with any of our 6 mid-week groups. For anyone who is not an annual member, we ask for a £1 donation toward our admin and insurance costs.
Please pay the Walk leader on the day.
