What we’re about
When do you feel most alive?
I can be utterly myself when I'm drawing or making art.
Being part of an artistic community is one of the great joys of life,
While I'd like to introduce myself as a self-taught artist, I'm really just a passionate hobbyist. (Don't expect me to teach you, but I'm happy to share my experiences.)
Creating art can be quite solitary, and it's sometimes hard to stay motivated on our own.
Let's make art—whatever form it takes!
The best work is the work that excites you!

Yongsan Children's Garden used to be a US military camp for many years. Located in the heart of the city, it occupies a huge territory. Now a portion is open to the public, while the rest awaits clearance. When you enter the park, you'll experience a unique atmosphere—though surrounded by apartments, it's peaceful and cozy.
How about translating your unique experience into any artistic form you choose? You can bring your own canvas, notepad, sketchbook, or camera. From the perspective of Asian painting, poetry is formless painting, while painting is wordless poetry—there is no boundary between art forms. You can share any prose or poems inspired by the location. Rather than merely representing what you see, convey what you feel in your heart.
Don't forget to bring your ID card. Foreigners must register at least 11 days in advance (May 13), while Koreans need to register by 3PM the day before. Since the park is adjacent to the presidential office and military department, there will be a brief bag inspection. Though this might be slightly inconvenient, I believe it will be worth it, especially in this season.
