What we draw reveals what we see. Have you thought about your own way of seeing? Are we seeing things as they are, as we want to see them, or as we've been taught to see them? How would it be different to see with care rather than according to convention?

We experience unique sensations at every moment, but we often don't sense them properly. I believe we should reveal what we're sensing in order to sense more thoroughly. If we continue to express what we're sensing, the way we reveal it will shape the way we sense it. I'd love to explore this process with you.

There's no such thing as a "well-painted drawing"—there's only how far you've pushed yourself to reveal what you want to share with the world. Don't try to replicate paintings called "exemplary" or genre paintings like urban sketches or minwha. We can learn their techniques and perspectives, but we don't have to follow the same style.

Hyochang Park has a historical atmosphere. Stroll freely and express whatever comes to mind. We haven't set a starting time—making art takes as long as it takes. We'll share our work at 4 PM at Samjung Cafe. Get lost and explore this place with your own materials. See you there!
