THEME
We all experience failure, but what if failure wasn't the end of the road, but a gift in disguise?
Join us for "Fail Forward," a reflective and interactive discussion event where we explore how our perceived failures can be powerful tools for personal growth, self-discovery, and courage. This event is designed to create a safe and open space where participants can share their experiences and insights, help each other reframe setbacks, and build resilience for future endeavors.

Through guided conversations, we’ll dive into the following questions:

  • What are your most memorable failures in life, and how did they shape who you are today?
  • What lessons have you learned from these experiences that you wouldn't have gained otherwise?
  • What changes/successes/breakthroughs did these failures result in that you now appreciate and wouldn't have occurred otherwise?
  • How do you see these failures now after seeing both sides of the coin?
  • What do you truly want in life now? How do fears of failure get in the way?
  • What new attitude can we adopt for failures so we can have the freedom to fail and go for what we really, really want in life?
  • What are some small steps in the coming week you can take to go after what you truly want, even if failure is a possibility?
  • How can we continuously develop the courage to embrace uncertainty and the potential for failure?

By the end of the event, participants will walk away with fresh perspectives on failure, feeling empowered to take risks and pursue their goals with renewed confidence. Together, we'll transform our setbacks into stepping stones and recognize that failure is not the opposite of success—it's part of the journey.

AGENDA
As usual, we will have 3 rounds:
Round 1:
Self-introduction: just a bit of background to get everyone familiar with you!
Round 2:
Share your experience/thoughts on the topic: I encourage you to have some thoughts on the questions I suggested beforehand, just to make our conversations more awesome!
Round 3:
Free discussion
You are definitely not obligated to share more than you're comfortable with, but it's very encouraged to get yourself engaged in the discussion!

WHAT TO BRING

  1. An open mind.
  2. A desire to share and grow.

GUESTS
You're very much welcome to bring some friends who is interested in this group but does not have a Meetup account. However, I do want to keep this event relatively small to allow for a quality conversation, so please do let me know the number of guests when joining, so I can decide based on total number of participants.
