We Cycle Rock and Stroll RVA

PLEASE READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION!
This is a combination event which will start at 3:30 pm and end at appx. 10pm. I'm planning to meet at Jamestown Settlement/Capital Trail Trailhead and bike the 5 mile Jamestown Tour Road. Please have your America The Beautiful Pass or other pymt method. We'll ride the Island then jump on the Capital Trail and ride app. 7 miles to Chickahominy River Front Park and back. From there we'll drive the Colonial Parkway to Rt 199 and S. Henry St and park at College Landing Park and bike appx. 1.5/2 miles on a dedicated bike lane to Colonial Williamsburg. We'll lock our bikes in front of the Lululemon at Dog St and Henry and eat at at Mellow Mushroom or whatever your choice then walk around CW until the 9:30 pm Fireworks Display.
After the fireworks we'll bike the short distance back to our vehicles and home. It sounds a bit complicated but we won't need to worry about parking, etc.
PLEASE NOTE you'll need a helmet and bike lights both front & back. There is a bike lane so it's pretty safe riding at night. Any questions or comments please feel free to contact/text me 757 619-5522.

This will be an Exploratory walk from Shelter 1 parking area to Belle Isle Via Buttermilk trail and back. I have not walked this area in many years, I will be exploring it to see if it I would like to make it a reoccurring event. I am looking for a few brave souls to join me in the endeavor. We will meet near shelter 1 we will proceed through forest Hill Park to the Buttermilk trail

we cross over to Belle Isle do the trail loop and back to Forest Hill Park. We will start 900am to avoid heat of the day. Bring Water Hiking shoes/boots optional walking stick. RSVP only if you dare at your own risk.

CANDLE LIT GHOST WALK along the dark shrouded streets of Colonial Williamsburg while hearing stories of the lives, legends, and deaths of those of still haunt the town. Meet in front of The Cheese Shop at 410 Duke of Gloucester St at 7;15. Tour starts promptly at 7:30. There is a $15 CASH fee per person. Please limit guest to 1 and children within reason are welcome.

After our exploratory walk I have decided to make a Rockwood park a reoccurring event. Starting event at 900 am. Changing meet location to area closer to trails and of course a restroom in vicinity. We will meet in the large center parking lots

photo has exact location. We will walk to the White trail then connect to the Orange and blue trail. Stopping occasional for viewing wildlife
and other photo worthy views. Starting event early due to potential heat. Please bring water snack and weather appropriate gear. Trails are paved, gravel and dirt some gentle inclines. Event is at your own risk. C you there!
