Set Up Your Reading Journal for 2026

Dear gentle Journaler!
Imagine, if you will, Miss Austen seated at a small writing table, pen in hand, surveying her plans with wit, intention, and just a touch of mischief. In that same spirit, we shall gather to set up our Reading Journals for 2026—a year yet unwritten, but full of excellent prospects.

Together we will:
• Establish reading goals worthy of the most determined heroine
• Arrange lists, trackers, and reflections with both sense and sensibility
• Share conversation, laughter, and literary camaraderie

Bring your own journal, if you already possess one of which you are excessively fond, or a journal will be provided for you—no reader shall be left unprepared.

Feel free to bring your favorite journaling supplies (pens, washi, stickers, or other pleasing contrivances), though a selection of supplies will also be available for your use at the event.

Whether your tastes run to annotated margins, tidy lists, or florid reflections, you will find yourself in excellent company. No prior journaling experience is required—only a fondness for books and a willingness to plan one’s reading with a little elegance.

We very much hope you will join us. After all, there is no enjoyment like reading—particularly when it is shared.
