About The Route
This 5.8 mile hike is just the right balance of challenging terrain and gorgeous views. On a clear day, you can see all the way to Cabrillo. The trail is rated moderate on AllTrails; view the route here.

Where We’ll Meet
We’ll meet in the parking lot by the trailhead at the East Fortuna Staging Area.

What You’ll Need

• Always bring water, even if you don’t think you’ll need it
• Trekking poles optional but recommended
• Sun protection. This hike has very little shade
• Friendly dogs welcome!
