Volunteering at Austin Wildlife Rescue

This will be a "WILD" one! We will be helping out the Austin Wildlife Rescue at their long-term facility. Austin Wildlife Rescue rehabilitates and releases orphaned, injured, and sick wild animals and educates the public to coexist with wildlife.

Volunteer groups generally help them with physical labor types of projects such as deep cleaning our animal habitat rooms, cleaning cages, etc...

Volunteer groups are not able to hold or engage directly with the wild animals but will be given a brief tour of the facility at the end of the volunteer activity time.

Note: All volunteer activity with AWR takes place at their Rehabilitation Center in-between Elgin and Bastrop, about 30 minutes east of Austin. Message me if you are interested in joining our carpool
