Center For Child Protection

We're going back this time we're making props for the summer theater program! While we can't directly interact with the kids this is a great way to support them and the trauma they've experienced.

Impact: The Center for Child Protection is Travis County's only nonprofit involved in investigating crimes against children. They provide free forensic interviews, therapy, and medical care to kids and families. Our activity supports the families going through their programs. Small things that make a hard time a little brighter.

What we'll do: We'll likely be doing some arts & crafts for the kids:

1. Make signs for the kid's summer theater program
2. Decorating tote bags that kids receive when visiting the center. (they get to pick out gifts in a room and carry the gifts out in this tote bag)

Afterwards: For those interested, we can grab lunch at Batch nearby!
