We Ski II

This Sunday we will ride the Rock Creek Loop starting at the Rock Creek Trailhead on Iron Mountain Rd at 10am. We will start the ride going over Heart Rate then south on the rail trail to the Middle Creek trail. On to Shasta then back on Rock Creek Road. For those who don't want to ride Heart Rate, you can ride the road to the Keswick trailhead. Please bring helmet, water and snacks. Rain cancels.

FLATLANDER, We Ski II's monthly meeting. Come join us at Market Street Pizza for our Club meeting and social time. We will meet at 6pm for socializing and the meeting will start at 6:30pm. This month we will be talking about the upcoming annual Veterans Day Bike and Brunch and our annual Christmas party. We will also be showing the IMAX film "The Living Sea". Hope to see you there.

We Ski II Tuesday morning weekly bike ride. We will meet at 10:00am at the Turtle Bay Monolith. From the Monolith, we will ride the Arboretum loop then continue to Keswick Dam Road. Continuing back on the south side we will ride up Middle Creek Trail before returning to the Monolith. Total ride will be about 17 miles. Please bring water and be sure to wear your helmet.

We will do a night ride with the light of a full moon while looking for wildlife. Bike lights required and a helmed mounted light will be useful. We will meet at 4:30 pm at the Keswick Boat Ramp parking lot and ride to the Off-Road Vehicle Park watching for wildlife.

After the ride we will go to the Pipeline Restuarant at the Redding Bike Depot for dinner. The Redding Bike Depot is at the corner of Shasta St. and California St. As with all We Ski II bike rides, helmets are required. Hope you can make it.
