Presidents day pie hike
Details
This is the annual hike to Piety Hill above Clear Creek to have a slice of pie in honor of George Washington. Yes there will be a cherry pie along with several other selections. Meet a the parking lot for the Horsetown Preserve just west of the Clear Creek bridge at 10 AM. This is a fairly easy 4.5 mile loop hike. It is a bit challenging, steep and rugged for a short distance at the start but otherwise easy going. After meeting at the parking area there is an option for anyone who needs an easy approach to drive to the Cloverdale trail head and meet us at Pity Hill. Wear appropriate attire for the weather bring water and good walking shoes. Rain will cancel. Please RSVP by Saturday February 14 so I know how many pies to bring.
