Coding Club: Open Data /Big Data, and React Native

This month Coding Club will explore Open Data / Big Data. What you can do with #OpenData. How to find open data available, how to evaluate data source, how to extract data, how to clean data.
This topic is huge, but we will start exploring it applying real time data for City of Newburgh property taxes, and see what we can get.

What we'll do:
• 10 Minutes for Everyone to introduce themselves to the group. We want to know who you are, what you do, language or technology focus, and what you're looking to get out of this group in the future!

• Then we will dive into talks which will range from 15-45 minutes with time for questions at the end.
One of the key topics to discuss this time is Open Data, and how we can use it for Newburgh.

• We will also catch up with React Native Study Group and see what they are doing and how to start.

• What to bring
Laptops to work. Questions to ask. Projects to collaborate. Skills and ideas to share. Business cards to exchange.

• Important to know: Coding Club is a volunteer-based activity. We are looking forward to meet local techies and web pros as well as total novice who is interested to start this Coding/WebDev journey. We will work together as community to help each other to learn and grow.
