Sewing a Holiday Gift- Make a Solstice Altar Cloth w/ Tahlia in Tucson

Details
During this holiday season, learn how to make a simple altar cloth for your Solstice ceremony! Using patchwork techniques we will be making a circular 9 inch patchwork round that can be used as an altar cloth for you or as a gift. Embroidery thread, base, and fabrics will be available for all.
Slow stitching is a new term for an age-old practice of quiet gentle making, mending and stitching. To slow stitch is to take the time to mindfully create or recreate something personal through stitching with needle and thread.
Donations are accepted (Requested $10-$30) and you will take home the cloth you make. Donations can be made in cash, venmo, paypal or debit card.
Your guide is Tahlia, a slow stitcher and Animist artist for many decades. Quynn is Tahlia's helper and is happy for this opportunity to hand sew personal power tools.
Location: Our suite is B-140 in Old Adobe Office Park, right behind The Girls Estate Sales off of Wilmot.
