Connecting with the Spirit of Copper Circle in Tucson

Details

Hosted by Hawko/Jacob.

Copper is the substance that marked the transition of humans into the age of metals. It can be found on the surface of the earth in its elemental, pure metal state. It is easily shaped and holds a sharp edge. It can be polished into a reflective surface. When combined with tin, it forms bronze which began its use as a component of war force.

The modern uses of copper are many. It is essential to the use of electricity. However, it is communication and the warforce that has been stimulated by its presence. There is a confusion concerning this metals abundance. It is widely stated that this is a scarce material. Is it? There will never be enough copper to satisfy the modern needs. Arizona is currently facing the creation and expansion of several copper mines. The copper from this region has been spread to all points of the earth.

The spirit of copper circle will journey into the minerals of azurite, malachite and chryscola to listen for the messages that are so relevant to current events. Mines that are proposed are in the Santa Rita mountains and Oak Flat near Globe. These are two sacred sites to the native peoples.

Our intention for this circle is to become aware of opportunities to feel the copper spirit. We will search for the tiny actions that grow together into a course correction for our collective future.

Donations are accepted.
