Alasitas Ceremony- Bring your Wishes to Life in the New Year
Details
Alasitas is a festival in La Paz, Bolivia, Liliana's ancestral home. The festival at the end of January celebrates the Aymara god of abundance, Ekekois and is known for its exchange of miniature items, to bring forward what we would like to accomplish this new year. It is like a vision board, but we do it together. In Alasitas, everything is in miniature, like a little house or a little car, healthy body etc...whatever else you desire.
Liliana, Minister with Web of Life, is the host.
Then we work as a group to energize what our relatives desire. Be open to the wonderful mystery that this ritual will bring forward.
Bring water, and your desires on paper, image, small miniatures. If you don't have miniatures, you can draw them on paper, or use magazine images (bring what you want).
Donations are accepted, which support Web of Life.
