What we’re about

WebRTC is the new platform for peer-to-peer realtime communication. JavaScript based browser-to-browser audio and video, plus awesome data channels.

It's part of HTML5 - developed by the W3C and IETF in cooperation. WebRTC includes peer-to-peer voice, video and data channels - a great platform for games, video chats and much more. There's even a p2p browser based implementation of BitTorrent using WebRTC.
