What we're about

0ur purpose is to get together with other motorcycle riders who enjoy cruising & touring and are available for fun rides during the week, Mondays through Fridays. Occasionally we also post weekend rides and events. We prefer rides that include back country roads, interesting destinations and good food.

The challenge for any weekday riding group is to avoid rush hour traffic on the major roads, so most rides usually start after 9:00 AM and try to conclude by 4:00 PM, depending on destination and route. Longer trips with overnight stays are also welcome. Short lunch rides with little notice are fine too.

There is no set leader; anyone with riding experience can plan and lead a fun ride. There is no mandatory attendance or group meetings. If you have to cancel a ride you planned to attend, please give as much notice as possible.

It is expected that you have a valid motorcycle license, current motorcycle insurance that includes towing, and you agree that no individual connected to WEEKDAY CRUISERS shall be held liable for any mechanical damages or personal injury you may suffer as a result of participating in our rides.

As with all responsible groups, we ride staggered where possible, with no passing or hot dogging. Smoking while riding or consuming alcohol while attending any of our daytime rides (including lunch stops) puts everyone at risk and is unacceptable. Please refrain from wearing club jackets/colors or exhibiting confederate emblems or flags. We are a non-political group with many diverse opinions; please leave those discussions for other places.

Members are always welcome to bring guests; either as passengers or experienced riders, as long as they adhere to our rules for safe riding.

While we stop for gas as often as needed, it's smart to leave our meeting place with a full tank. All of our meeting places are close to a gas station.

Want to plan & lead a ride? After it, you'll not only get exempted from dues going forward, but will also be awarded our unique WEEKDAY CRUISERS RIDE LEADER cap!

New to Group Riding? Read about it (https://www.msf-usa.org/downloads/group_ride.pdf) and let the Ride Leader (Host) know your comfort level before the ride.

Join us on a ride or lead a ride and lets have fun!

If you have any questions about our group, or wish to set a date to lead a ride, send a message here or call or text Eric at: 631-946-9121.

Peaks of Otter

Sheetz

This is a tentative date and may change as it gets closer.

Meet at 8:30, KSU 9:00.

The Peaks of Otter is on the Blue Ridge Parkway, not far from Bedford, VA. A ride to the Peaks of Otter can be done round trip in a day. There's a nice restaurant there with a good menu.

It's not that far as mileage is concerned, but it will be a long day. We need to be on the road by 9AM and won't be back to Manassas until sometime after 6PM or so. Country roads, Blue Ridge Parkway speed limits and environmental breaks all eat up time. It's a fun trip, nonetheless.
