About us

The Weekend Sketching Circle is a space for local artists of all skill levels to step away from their studios and enjoy the process of drawing together. We meet on Saturday or Sunday mornings at various parks, cafes, and museums around the city to capture our surroundings on paper. There is no formal instruction or pressure to produce a masterpiece; the goal is simply to build a consistent habit and enjoy the company of other creative people in our community.

We spend a few hours sketching quietly before regrouping to share our work and chat about our process. Whether you prefer graphite, ink, watercolors, or digital tablets, you are more than welcome here. Please bring your own supplies and a portable chair if you prefer to sit comfortably. We look forward to meeting you and seeing the world through your sketchpad.
