Welcome to Weekends Are Dead To Me! Get ready to embrace the ultimate weekDAY experience with our lively and diverse community! This Meetup group is perfect for those who love socializing, whether you're new in town or a longtime local. We organize at least 2 different activities a week and you can join what fits your schedule and interests. Anything from boardgames for those who enjoy a bit of friendly competition, to walking and hiking tours to movies, dining out, gallery visits and fine arts appreciation. Let's Meetup!

The Rhythm Lounge is starting a beginner West Coast Swing Dance class at the Appalcian Brewing Company in Harrisburg from 7:15pm - 8:00pm and from 8:00pm - 9:00pm is social dancing. The class is $20. But, to just come at 8:00pm to dance is only $5. For those of you that aren't new to swing they're also teaching intermediate classes there as well. Yes you can come early and get a bite at the Abbey Bar and then enjoy some dancing. Which is what I do. I get there at 6pm, get dinner and then get my dancing shoes on! I will never impress with my dancing skills, but, I'm out there having fun because my motto is, "I don't care if I look like a fool. As long as I'm the fool having fun!" So come join me and just have some fun! (If you choose to eat downstairs before coming up to class please show your receipt to the bartender as the Rhythm Lounge does need to meet a minimum for the event.)
The sponsors for this event, https://therhythmlounge.dance have posted that they're starting to require pre-registration for all events. So please go to their website and register. I'd hate for anyone to have trouble at the door.
