Weekend Hikers and Beyond, WeHike.org, is a volunteer-led group passionate about hiking in SLO County and the Central Coast of California. In spite of our name, we host day hikes on weekends and weekdays at varying skill levels.

- Mid-week Evening Hike - Johnson Ranch LoopJohnson Ranch Trailhead, San Luis Obispo, CA
Join us for an evening hike on the beautiful Johnson Ranch loop trail which is comprised of rolling grassy hills, serpentine rocks, oak trees some moderatately challenging ascents and descents. There can be loose gravel on the trail, so shoes with good tread are recommended.
The Johnson Ranch Open Space is comprised of 242 acres of old ranch land just south of San Luis Obispo and

- Distance: less than 4 miles
- Elevation: less than 500 feet
- Pace: moderate to brisk
- Due to the ever changing microclimate, layers recommended
- Bring water, sun protection, shoes with good tread
- Please arrive early to find parking
- Please be aware that ticks and poison oak are prevalent.
