Evening hike at Stadium Park

Come join me at Stadium Park in Atascadero. We’ll wind our way through shady oak trees making our way up to the monolith for some great views. If all goes well, we’ll catch a beautiful sunset over the city.

We’ll meet at the trailhead at the small parking lot just off Capistrano. There’s plenty of additional parking on the street if the lot is full. Boots hit the trail at 6:30.

Essentials:

• Distance: about 2 miles
• Elevation: less than 600 feet
• Pace: perky pace
• Due to the ever changing microclimate, layers recommended
• Bring water, sun protection, shoes with good tread
• Please arrive early to find parking
• Leashed dogs welcome
