Avila Overlook Hike

Our hike starts on the north end of Discovery Trail where we will hike up, up, up, Panhandle Trail to the Avila Overlook. Once at the top, we hope to have sweeping ocean views, unless the weather brings us late afternoon fog. This will be an out and back trail, less than 5 miles, with an elevation gain of about 900 feet. Link to trail status via the Pismo Preserve's Instagram acct.

Essentials:

• Meet at the south end of the parking area trailhead near the restrooms and picnic tables.
• 💛 Boots on the trail at 5:00 sharp, so come early to stretch.
• Bring a hat, layers, water & shoes with good tread.
