About us
We started this group because we love to draw but often find it difficult to sit down and actually do it when the day is done. Whether you are a professional artist or someone just picking up a pencil for the first time in years, the goal here is simply to carve out a consistent block of time to work on our projects. We meet weekly to turn off the distractions and focus on our sketchbooks in the company of others who value the process of showing up.
There are no critiques or formal lessons here, just a quiet space to keep your creative momentum going. We spend most of the session sketching independently, with a few minutes at the start or end to catch up if you feel like chatting. If you have been looking for a reason to prioritize your practice and want to join a low-pressure group that keeps you on track, we would love to have you join us for a session.
