About us
The Weekly Sketching Collective and Social Club is a low-pressure space for anyone interested in drawing, whether you are a professional artist or just someone who enjoys doodling in a notebook. We meet once a week to find a quiet corner in a cafe, park, or public space to work on our own projects side-by-side. The goal is simply to dedicate a few hours to our sketchbooks while enjoying the company of others who appreciate the process.
We keep things very informal, so there is no formal instruction or critique unless you specifically ask for it. After we finish our sketching session, we usually stick around for a bit to chat, share what we have been working on, or just talk about art supplies and inspiration. It is a great way to get out of the house, stay consistent with your creative practice, and meet a few friendly faces in the neighborhood. We look forward to having you join us for a session soon.
