## Virtual Movie & Craft Night: Inside Out

Join us for a virtual gathering where we’ll watch Inside Out together while crafting, pausing once for a grounding discussion, and ending with space to share what resonated and show off any completed or in‑progress art. This event is designed to be low‑pressure and relaxing.

Content & Trigger Warnings
Inside Out is an animated film, but it includes themes that may be activating for some viewers, such as:

  • Childhood emotional neglect and invalidation
  • Moving, loss of home, and major life transitions
  • Depression-like symptoms and emotional shutdown
  • Memory loss, identity disruption, and internal conflict
  • Moments of fear, sadness, and overwhelm

You are welcome to care for yourself in whatever way feels right throughout the event. Cameras on or off, stepping away, muting, crafting without watching, or leaving early are all okay. You never need to explain your boundaries.

### What to Expect

  • Craft‑Along Viewing: Bring any craft that feels grounding—drawing, knitting, painting, collage, clay, beadwork, or anything soothing and repetitive. There is no pressure to finish anything; the goal is comfort and regulation.
  • One Pause Point: We’ll take a single intentional break during the movie to breathe, check in, and optionally share thoughts or emotional reactions. Participation is always optional.
  • Closing Reflection Circle: After the film, we’ll gather for an open conversation about what stood out, what felt meaningful or challenging, and how the film’s themes connected with your own emotional landscape. Participants are welcome to share their crafts if they’d like.
