🎬✨ Online Movie & Craft Night: The Florida Project ✨🎨
A cozy, creative, and compassionate community gathering on Zoom

Join us for a thoughtful evening of connection, creativity, and conversation as we watch The Florida Project. We’ll craft individually while viewing, pause at intentional moments for reflection, and gather afterward for a supportive, trauma-informed discussion.

⸻

🌅 About the Film

The Florida Project is a tender, unfiltered portrait of childhood on the margins, set in the shadow of Disney World. Through the eyes of six-year-old Moonee and her young mother, the film explores poverty, resilience, community, and the complexity of care.

Content note: The film contains themes of housing insecurity, financial instability, and neglect. We will approach all discussion with care.

🌟 Why This Gathering?

Crafting can help regulate the nervous system while engaging with emotionally complex material. Watching communally—even virtually—creates connection and shared witnessing. This evening is about holding space for both beauty and difficulty, curiosity and reflection.
Come as you are. Create. Witness. Reflect. Connect. 💫
