Join WH2H Ambassador Sharon for a mindfulness hike at Fort Yargo State Park.

We Hike To Heal brings all whom identify as women together in an effort to create community around Mindfulness, Self-care and the Great Outdoors!

Join me for a hike, mindfulness, journaling, and meditation in Winder, GA. I wanted to start offering g a more difficult hike into our rotation. For those that want a longer or more challenging hike to enjoy together. Meet in the parking lot depicted in the Alltrails app below.

Hike Details:

Fort Yargo State Park Lake Loop

Trail Rating - Moderate

Length - 6.0 miles

Trail Type - Loop

Elevation - 413 ft

Parking: $5 or GA State Park Pass

Restrooms: Available at Parking Lot

What you will need for this hike:

Comfortable and supportive hiking shoes/boots or sneakers. Watershoes if planning on getting in any water features.

Layers to keep yourself comfortable, we recommend moisture wicking clothing. Workout clothes work just fine

A daypack/backpack to carry what you need for the day

Your journal and a pen.

A towel/blanket/yoga mat to sit on if you are uncomfortable sitting on the ground

A reusable water bottle (we will have jugs of water for you to fill up at the trailhead)

An open mind!
