Lockie Bennett Trio

The trio, led by Lockie Bennett, specialises in and is greatly influenced by the likes of Bud Powell and Charlie Parker. Expect familiar and lesser-known bebop tunes and curated selections from the great American songbook. The trio features some of New Zealand’s top musicians, Elijah Mulheron on bass and Cory Champion on drums.

This gig will be recorded and released as part of Lockie’s debut album later this year. With Cory heading overseas, this will be your last chance to see this trio for some time.
