Greg Crayford's Jazz at The Realm - RC 'Trane

Details

This coming week at Wellington’s longest-running jazz residency, Greg brings a talented crew of young men who graduated from the mighty Rongotai College music programmes, and are no stranger to the Realm experience. Though they’re long past their school days, they spent significant time sitting in during their RC tenure and were rewarded with their own special night last year. It went so well that …. they’re BACK! With help! Another Realm stalwart, and one of Aotearoa’s finest, the boys will be joined by none other than saxophone master, Oscar Laven, with a Coltrane-heavy programme, for your listening pleasure.
Personnel:

Oscar Laven – saxophones
Liam George – trombone
Tim Honiss – piano
Rex More ‘The King’ – double bass
Greg Crayford – drums and host
