About us
We are a group of Sci-Fi & Fantasy lovers, who meet regularly to discuss movies, TV series, books and more. Everyone welcome, whether you're a hardcore sci-fi nerd, or just a casual appreciator of the genre.
Our main event is a monthly quiz, created by one of our members, but we also have regular movie outings and get-togethers. We're open to ideas for new events, and happy to give people organiser status if they want to run something themselves.

Sci-Fi / Fantasy Team Quiz
The Tasting Room, 2 Courtenay Place, Wellington, NZOur sci-fi/fantasy quiz is a fun way for us all to meet up, answer a few sci-fi/fantasy questions in teams, have something to eat and drink (if you like), and chat.
There are usually 4-5 rounds (including a picture round), and we ask quiz masters to cover a wide range of franchises/movies/TV series/books, etc. We'll be keeping score, but the emphasis is on fun!
New group members are more than welcome! Don't worry if you feel like you won't be able to answer many questions. There should be some easier ones, and your team mates will help you out anyway. We usually have about 3-4 teams of 4-6 people each. We might ask people to move around teams to make sure there's a good mix of regulars and newbies.
If you're new to the quiz, we suggest you get there nice and early so you can get to know your team mates. People will be around from 3.15pm, the quiz usually kicks off a few minutes after 3:30pm.
This month, our quiz master is Bradley!
Our quiz masters are group members who put together the quiz on their own time, so please respect them! All answers are final and no correspondence will be entered into. If the quiz master says the sky is red then the sky is $%&#ing RED! If you're interested in doing a quiz, please let an organiser know. We can give you plenty of support to put together a great quiz.
