1st Tue - June 2025 Hiking at Belwin Conservancy

Belwin Conservancy is located near Afton MN south of I94. There are multiple free public trails. We will hike the Stagecoach Prairie trails (approx 3 miles) then drive a short distance to the Bison platform. The Belwin Bison Festival is on May 17th and the bison will be released into the paddock for prairie restoration. If you have never hiked the Belwin trails before, come and learn about all the trails they maintain for public use.

The Stagecoach trails are dirt/grass with some steep hills which can be avoided if you do not want to do hills.

What to Wear
Please dress for outdoor activity dependent on the weather and temperature that day. Wear sturdy walking/hiking boots. Event will take place if raining lightly. Waterproof jacket and pants are recommended if it is raining that morning.

Cancellation
The event may be cancelled if weather or road conditions are dangerous. Any cancellation will be sent through Meetup.
