The Depression and Anxiety Wellness Support Group Zoom Meeting

Details
Depression and anxiety can result in silent suffering. Sharing with family or friends doesn't always help because they cannot relate. This group gives you a place to get support from people who understand because they share the same suffering.
Overview:
This group provides a safe and supportive environment for people to connect and share experiences, strength, hope, and offer mutual support. It is a sanctuary where members can be authentic, free from judgment, and receive encouragement and understanding from others who can relate to their struggles.
The meeting is in two parts:
-Part 1 is to share hope and successes. People can talk about helpful therapies, medications, or behaviors or you can provide a positive update since our last meeting.
-Part 2 is to share your suffering. You can share or just listen in peace with your camera on or off.
Meeting Rules:
- Confidentiality: What is shared in the meeting stays in the group.
- Active Listening: Listen attentively without interrupting others.
- Respect: Treat each participant with kindness, empathy, and respect.
- One Person Speaks at a Time: Avoid talking over each other.
- No Judgement: Do not to judge others.
- Mutual Support: Offer support, encouragement, and inspiration to fellow participants whenever possible.
