Depression and anxiety can result in silent suffering. Sharing with family or friends doesn't always help because they cannot relate. This group gives you a place to get support from people who understand because they share the same suffering.

Overview:
This group provides a safe and supportive environment for people to connect and share experiences, strength, hope, and offer mutual support. It is a sanctuary where members can be authentic, free from judgment, and receive encouragement and understanding from others who can relate to their struggles.

The Meeting will start with this announcement:
We let people who are in suffering share first. So if your mental state is really bad and you want to share, say so with a chat message or a verbal request. After we support all suffering members, we will open up for general sharing and ideas to support mental health.

Meeting Rules:

  1. Confidentiality: What is shared in the meeting stays in the group.
  2. Active Listening: Listen attentively without interrupting others.
  3. Respect: Treat each participant with kindness, empathy, and respect.
  4. One Person Speaks at a Time: Avoid talking over each other.
  5. No Judgement: Do not judge others.
  6. Mutual Support: Offer support, encouragement, and inspiration to fellow participants whenever possible.

Disclaimer:
We're an informal peer support group where we share our experiences to hopefully help each other navigate life a little easier. We're not medical professionals and are not licensed to diagnose any conditions or prescribe treatment. If you are in a crisis, please call or text 988, or call 911.
