The Wellstone Club Meeting on Thursday, January 23 will be devoted to endorsements for the March 3 Primary Election.
Endorsement Meeting Agenda
You will notice that there is no Presidential endorsement. At our previous meeting in November, the club jointly endorsed Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders. We’re all hoping that the contretemps of the last week will be settled between them in a positive way. After all, it’s only if Bernie and Elizabeth together come into the Democratic Convention with a majority of the elected delegates will there be hope for change.
You will be able to vote in this endorsement process only if you have been a continuing member of the club. And if you wish to cast a proxy vote, you may assign your proxy to a continuing club member who will present a statement to that effect at the registration table.
Meanwhile, do open and read the attachment. And if you come, please bring something to share for the potluck. Endorsement meetings seem to increase the appetites of attendees.
