   Nickan Fayyazi is a student member of the Academic Senate, University of California at
   Berkeley and a legislative intern, City of Berkeley .
   Conn Hallinan is a columnist for Foreign Policy In Focus and a retired journalism
   professor and provost who oversaw the journalism program at the University of California
   at Santa Cruz for over two decades.
   Nancy Merritt is on the Peace Alliance Leadership Council and coordinates the national
   and California Department of Peace Building campaigns
