Anna Alsobrook and Christine Mauck will discuss plastics pollution and the effect of microplastics on human health.

Anna Alsobrook is MountainTrue’s French Broad Riverkeeper. She holds a master’s degree in geography from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.

Christine Mauck, MD, MPH, is a physician who is board certified in preventive medicine and public health. Since moving to Asheville in 2020, she's been active in PlasticFreeWNC, a coalition of environmental groups
