West Chester Area Piano Group - May Meetup

Hi Everyone - I had a great time at our April meetup today, and want to thank those who attended. As always, I enjoyed listening to everyone's music, and I thank everyone for listening to me. It was a great opportunity to test run three pieces that I'm currently working on, and we had good conversation about our shared enjoyment regarding this hobby, as well as our common challenges and aspirations. For those of you who think that you may be interested in, but hesitant about, attending a future event, please remember that it doesn't matter what level you're at, what type of music you prefer, or what stage of completion your current work is in. Our goal is to provide everyone with a supportive environment to share the music that they enjoy, to maybe learn something new about a type of music that you never thought about listening to or playing, and to enjoy a bit of conversation with others who find the piano a fascinating, challenging and rewarding hobby. We hope to see you in May!

As usual, we will meet at Peter's home and we'll start promptly at 1pm with a few minutes for conversation. Then we'll get to the playing, giving each person the opportunity to play whatever song/piece they want to perform. Once everyone has had that opportunity, we'll continue rotating through the members to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to play as many additional pieces/songs as time permits.
