Because Adult Friendships Should Be Fun!

We're a husband-and-wife team who traded the hustle and bustle for Florida's sunshine, beaches, palm trees, and endless adventures.

We didn't move here for the politics.

We moved here because we love warm weather, live music, Disney, good food, spontaneous road trips, and saying "yes" to new experiences.

Along the way, we realized something was missing.

We wanted to find people who shared not only our values, but our enthusiasm for life.

So we started this group.

This Meetup is for progressive and liberal-minded adults in their 40's & 50's who want to build genuine friendships with people who enjoy getting out, laughing often, and making the most of everything Central Florida has to offer.

We believe shared values help create a comfortable environment where everyone can relax and be themselves. While we all may have different opinions on individual issues, this group is intentionally for people who identify as politically progressive or liberal.

We're not here to argue politics.

We're here to enjoy life together.

This isn't a dating group, a networking group, or a political debate club. While shared progressive values help create the atmosphere we're looking for, our focus is on building friendships and having fun together.

We love families, but this group is all about adults connecting with other adults. Our events are intentionally kid-free so everyone can relax and enjoy the experience.

Our meetup is built around making genuine connections, so we ask that every member use a recent photo of themselves on their profile. Seeing who we're meeting helps create a comfortable, friendly atmosphere for everyone.
