West LA Women's Pick Up Soccer, All levels

Hello all, We will be playing on the field at Stoner Park on Tuesdays. Thursdays are at Mar Vista Park at 7:15. The games at Stoner begin 7:15 as well starting Dec 2023.
Kathy and I are asking that you RSVP.
Our annual Meet up fee is $10 once per YEAR,. The meetup fee pays for the cost of our membership in the Meetup organization, pinnies, goals, balls, ice packs, pumps and anything else that comes along as a cost to us.
In addition Stoner Park games are part of Parks and Recreation classes. I will have the sheets for each of you to sign up on at the field. The fee for the "class" at Stoner is $10 twice a year so your total will be $30 for both meetup and Parks and Rec. for an entire year and covers both parks. This fee goes to the city to pay for lights and field maintenance etc .
Check the map below for the location. There is a parking lot right next to the field on Missouri Ave.

Instructions to register for our class. You can pay online by going to REG.LAPARKS.org I had to try that website several times before it worked so keep trying. I do not know if caps are necessary but I used caps the time I finally got in. Once there go to Create an Account on the right side of the page. The next step is to click on search and choose "add an activity". It probably is easier just to bring your $10 in cash to the field and fill out the paper form I will give you. But if you are successful with the park site great.

choose SToner park on the dropdown, then choose soccer, then choose adult, then choose women and our activity should show up. Sign up on the Tuesday summer/fall or winter as appropriate section and pay the $10 fee. our "class" at Stoner park.

Thursday games will be at Mar Vista Park. Check the map for the location. If you can get there at 7:15 it would be great so we can start on time. Otherwise join us a little later. We discovered we are not able to use the turf field but will be on the big field near the roller rink. The second parking lot to the east of the turf field off of Palms Blvd is right next to the Roller rink. If you are driving west from Sawtelle it is the first parking lot on Palms. There might also be spots along Palms Blvd.

And remember meet up dues are $10 once a year...if you are playing with us you need to help support the team and the expenses....I have a list so if you do not remember the last time you paid check with me. Thank you all of you who have paid recently. We cannot run on no $ so please bring cash next time. These dues are separate from the $10 a half year we pay to Stoner Park if you also come to the Tuesday game there. If you only play on Thursdays you do not need to sign up with Parks and Rec. This is a fantastic bargain the park has given us to minimally cover the cost of lights, personnel etc. Everyone who plays Tuesdays needs to register with Parks and Rec.

The easier way is to just bring $10 cash to the field and fill in the paper form I will hand you. Then a few weeks later or as soon as you can you can bring another $10 to the field to support our Meetup costs which cover things like membership in MeetUp, pinnies, goals , balls, ice packs, pumps and other expenses which come throughout the year.
The total cost to our players is $30...not per game or per week, but for the year. Thursday only players total cost is $10 per year.
