2026 Battle Creek Hot Air Balloon and Air Show
( The balloon allumes is in the evening, I think they are at 6 or 7 p.m. weather permitting and no lightening within 100 miles )

10:30 a.m. Gate Opens / 11:00 a.m. meet Air show start time 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

I will be trying to get as close to the runway fence and taxiway as possible so we can see the planes taxi out to the runway for great photos as well a great front row seat to the show.

$15.00 per person / $5.00 Parking per car

Advance registration is NOT requested, I always wait to see what the weather is going to be like since there are No rainchecks.

Bus Groups are welcome.

HANDICAP PARKING & FREE SHUTTLE SERVICE AVAILABLE - Ask a parking volunteer.

SMALL CANOPY TENTS ALLOWED on event grounds in Designated Areas.
Please pay attention to signage indicating designated area. You may be asked to move if you are not behind the line.

Coolers ARE allowed
NO GLASS CONTAINERS WHATSOEVER
NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES can be brought in, but can be purchased on-site with proper ID
NO Firearms Permitted
NO Sparklers or Fireworks Permitted
NO Pets allowed on event grounds
NO tents, chairs, blankets, etc. are allowed in GENERAL PARKING AREAS
NO Grills are permitted on event grounds except in the RV Camping Area - Rules will apply
NO bicycles, mopeds, golf carts, etc. are allowed on event grounds except if STATE APPROVED HANDICAP UNITS.

NO overnight stays except in the RV Camping Area.
Daily Admission and Parking Fees will apply.
Admission Wristbands and Parking Passes are good ALL DAY.

PARKING DIRECTIONS:
OPTION 1- If heading West on 1-94 - Take the Helmer Road Exit #95 (Go North on Helmer) and at the Columbia Avenue intersection continue straight to the Field of Flight GENERAL MAIN Parking Lots which will be GENERAL SOUTH PARKING. Free Shuttle Service is available to the Main Gate.
OPTION 2 - If heading East or West on 1-94, Take Exit #92, which is Springfield/Skyline Drive/Martin Luther King HWY. You will go north to the first traffic light; turn right this will be Columbia Avenue. The next traffic light is South Airport Road (R & L Trucking will be on the south side) you will turn North (left) on South Airport Road (passing Duncan Aviation) and follow it until you get to BLUFISH GENERAL Parking Lot in Right Lane; it will have with a BLUE Banner. Parking Volunteers will be there to scan your parking pass and direct you to a space. If you have a Gate #6 Parking Pass you will proceed on South Airport Road in the left lane, passed the BluFish General Parking to Gate #6 and Security will direct you to the correct location. Free Shuttle Service is available for those in need to the King Jewelers Admission Gate.
OPTION 3 - (General Spectators from M-37) Stay South on M-37. You will cross over Michigan Avenue (Urbandale) and this will turn into N. Helmer Road. This will deadend into Dickman Road. At Dickman Road turn left (East). The next traffic light is Helmer Road and you will turn right (South). Follow this until you come to the Field of Flight GENERAL NORTH PARKING. Parking Volunteers will be there to greet you, scan your pass, and direct you to a space. Free Shuttle Service is available to the Main Gate

***NOTES***
THE ADDRESS IS FOR THE AIRPORT, PLEASE FOLLOW SIGNS TO THE EVENT PARKING AREA AND IF MEETING THERE, MEET AT THE GATE / AND -OR / CALL WHEN YOU ARRIVE.

I think that they may also be parking cars at the entrance off of 3367 W. Dickman Road but again, sometimes they change it up so follow signs and police instructions.

You can call or text me when you get there to see where I have set up but will try to get close to the fence line.
