Hello, My name is Jim.
I started this group in 2011 and was the 19th Meetup Group in the area at the time.
Most groups were just doing one thing for events and I wanted to start a group that fulfilled my desires to share many types of events with people.
My hobbies and interests will be made into events for:
Cinema, Live Theater, Sporting events, Dining, Cycling, Golf, Wine Tasting, Cultural Activities, Fairs, Concerts, Trade Events, Geo Caching, Road Trips, Fitness, Camping , Learning events or classes, Festivals, amusement Parks and travel both in the USA and outside along with any other fun things I can think of and have free time to list and share with others that want to get out and do something fun.
I do ask that all potential members please upload a facial photo / head and shoulders photo of yourself - facing the camera / no hats / no sun glasses / art work / numeric names .. so that other members will know whom you are at an event and I myself will know who to look for.

October camping weekend
This is mainly just a relaxing camping trip.
Some Geocaching, POTA ( ham radio event ), short hike, a trip to a local store or eatery, the beach or just sitting around a camp fire may be included through out the duration of the event.***Notes***
Check in is 3:00 p.m. / Check Out is 1:00 p.m.Lot numbers will be given to those that are signed up for the event.
***NOTES***
WE WILL BE JOINING THE "SOUTHWEST MICHIGAN CAMPERS" MEET UP GROUP FOR THIS EVENT.
If you wish to go, please contact me for details.This camping trip I will be doing some hiking, biking, GeoCaching, working ham radio doing POTA and chillin by the fire in the evening.
Everyone is welcome to get a site and camp and join me or plan to stop by and go on an adventure or have a hot dog over the fire.

REGISTRATION IS OPEN FOR THIS EVENT ON THE MICHIGAN STATE PARKS RESERVATION SITE !Our lot numbers will be given to those that are members of the group and are interested in signing up for the event.
I will adjust the count of those attending from my circle of friends not in Meetup so you will see the representation of how many are going to this event - not including guests as I may not know everyone that others are bringing.
I am hoping for great weather and fun to be had by all.
