🧑‍🎨 The Shy-Friendly Hangout: Bring Coloring, Activities, & Meet New Friends

Our events are free to attend. We use Meetup only as our RSVP system. Meetup may show new users an optional Meetup+ offer during signup, but Meetup+ is not required to RSVP or attend. If you see that screen, choose “Continue with free plan.” Any Meetup+ payment goes to Meetup, not to International Friend Connection or the event host.

This event at Schuler Books Cafe is a calm, low-pressure space for shy, socially anxious, introverted or lonely people to reconnect with the real world.

Bring coloring books, art supplies, knitting, card games, a Nintendo Switch or any quiet activity that helps you feel comfortable. Having something to focus on makes it much easier to be around people.
No group introductions are required. You can talk, listen, color, play a game or ease in at your own pace.

Many people come once and feel disappointed they did not make close friends right away. The people who keep showing up usually end up making friends over time.
